Tiffany

Tiffany is a generous shawl with a half-pi construction that makes dramatic use of RiverKnits’ Rainbow Mini Skeins. A mix of lace patterns, garter stitch and slip stitches create a stunning overall effect.

Yarn

RiverKnits Nene 4 Ply Rainbow Mini Skein Set, (100% Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 12 x 80m per 20g mini skeins, 960m per 240g set); Shadow Rainbow, 1 set of 12 colours

Needles

3.75mm (US 5), circular, 120cm or longer, or size required to achieve stated tension

Tension

Because of the way the colour changes work with the pattern, your tension is very important.

Using 3.75mm needles, knit your tension swatch according to instructions on page 2.

Measurements

Block to: 168 x 84cm (66 x 33”)

After blocking, shawl will pull in, reducing size by a few cm in both directions to 161 x 80.5cm (631⁄2 x 313⁄4“)

Notes

Colours 1, 2 & 3 are used again at the end of the shawl (see p.5 for colour order).

Row numbers restart from 1 at each new section. All colour changes occur at the start of a RS row.
