Who doesn’t love stars? Especially the five pointed ones! They are so versatile and add a special extra to every project. ☆
This is a bundle of my patterns Five Pointed Star in Space, Five Pointed Star Inside, Pentagon Star, and Pentagon Star Inside. You can use these blocks in various projects: a mini quilt, a tote, a draw string as a special gift basket or a Christmas place mat. Or make several of them in several sizes and turn them into a wall hanging or a cute little baby quilt with one big star block in the middle. And the 4.5“ and the 9.5“ sizes are perfect to add an extra sparkle to your next charm pack or layer cake project!
Each pattern comes in several sizes (Five Pointed Star in Space and Pentagon Star: 9 sizes from 3“ to 10“, Five Pointed Star Inside and Pentagon Star Inside: 10 sizes from 4.5“ to 14“), with a coloring sheet and a bunch of design examples. The individual sections are clearly labeled and have a ¼“ seam allowance. There are no curves or y-seams. The patterns come as zip files with four PDF files in A4 and US Letter paper format.
These patterns are beginner friendly foundation paper piecing (FPP) patterns which assume basic knowledge of paper piecing. They do not include detailed FPP instructions or further instructions for turning them into e.g. a mini quilt. You can find lots of free tutorials for the various FPP methods online. These patterns can be made with just a few cotton scraps from your stash.
