A contract is a legal transaction between two or more persons whose conditions are supported by law. The contract, which is a legal transaction made with the consent of the parties to each other, is not required to be concluded in a certain way in general, but certain types of contracts are stipulated in the laws. For example, the contract of sale of immovable property must be made in a formal form. Making the contract in written form is also helpful in facilitating proof in case of disagreement.

For a contract to be valid, the declarations of intent of the parties to the contract must be mutual and in harmony with each other. In a contract, the parties have mutual interests. For example, the work done while purchasing any good is an oral contract. The buyer offers a price for the goods, and if the seller accepts this offer, he receives the money and delivers the goods. In this case, the contract has been made and the terms of the contract have been fulfilled.
For a contract to be valid, the parties must have made the contract voluntarily and consciously. Contracts made by coercion (coercion), intimidation (threat) or deception (cheating) of one of the parties are void. According to the law, those who are not considered adults, mentally ill, children cannot make a contract. Contracts that are against the law or morality cannot be made.
If one of the parties to the contract does not fulfill its obligations specified in the contract, the other party may apply to the court. The court compels the wrongful party to fulfill its obligation or decides to pay for the damage caused by non-compliance with the contract. In order to decide on this payment, which is called compensation, the injured party must prove its damage.
