Rainforest fiesta - pattern 2 - parrot - printed pattern

Block two of the Rainforest Fiesta patterns, this lovely panel is shaded from dark blues to zingy lime greens, with a self-border, on the lower right corner. A brightly coloured Toucan sits amongst beautiful peach flowers.

The quilt panel measures 10 by 14" and the pattern features all the instructions for a patchwork background with raw edge applique (sewn without fusible) secured with free-motion embroidery. The applique is cut from batik fabrics and layered to build up the two parrots and the foliage.
