Bohemian Spring - pattern 4 - little owls spring - digital version

With this quilt, I wanted to capture that riot of colour that spring encompasses. The block spans the full wealth of colours from deep chocolatey earth browns, plums, sage, and citrus greens, lavenders, and pinks and golden tones. The full quilt features two cute little owls with along curling clematis and apple blossom.

The block measures 12 by 12" (excluding seam allowances) and features a patchwork background with raw edge applique (sewn without fusible) secured with free-motion embroidery.
