When I grew up Halloween wasn’t really a thing here in Germany. Well, that definitely has changed and the Halloween hype obviously has reached me too by now.
You can use these blocks in various projects: a mini quilt, a draw string as a trick or treat bag, placemats or mug rugs. Or make several of them and turn them into a pillow, a wall hanging or a cute little Halloween baby quilt.
The pattern comes in two different sizes (6“ x 6“ and 9“ x 9“), it has four different pumpkin designs with five different stems – so you have 20 possible combinations in one pattern. The pattern comes as PDF files in A4 and US Letter paper format.
This pattern is a beginner friendly foundation paper piecing (FPP) pattern that assumes basic knowledge of paper piecing. It does not include detailed FPP instructions or further instructions for turning it into e.g. a pillow or a quilt. You can find lots of free tutorials for the various FPP methods online. This pattern can be made with just a few cotton scraps from your stash.
