The Velvet Frost shawl is knitted in a shallow triangular shape. The shawl is worked bottom-up starting with the lace border. The body is knit in garter stitch pattern and shaped into a triangle with the short rows knitting technique. The body and the lace part are separated with the row of eyelets. The shawl’s top edge is finished with the I-Cord bind off.

The stitch patterns used for the lace border are written out and charted.
