Downloadable PFD knitting pattern.

The Blooming Lilacs shawl is knitted on the bias sideways, starting with the few cast on stitches. Then you work the increases that are incorporated into a brioche stitch pattern. Shaping the shawl into an asymmetrical triangle is done by repeating the pattern of increases that runs along one edge of the fabric.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the stitch patterns.
