This download contains a fairly detailed introduction to making miniature models of small steamers or motor ships. Plans for five vessels are contained in it, one Thames River tug and four British coasters. The smallest model is the tug, whilst the largest is the 945 gross ton Adaptity. The other three vessels are: Signality, Helen Craig, and Charles M. If printed, it will produce an A4-sized document of 41 pages, including the one-page index. It contains 9,526 words and 71 images (including the five sets of plans). I have embedded Internet links in it so that the reader can connect to view images of the actual ships.
