West Sea Sunsets Korea ACEO Original Painting Watercolor 3-Piece Set
The "West Sea Sunsets" set of 3 ACEO original paintings is by artist R.K. Gille, winner of Best of Show and the 1990 Kenai Art Guild Scholarship from the Kenai Art Guild in Kenai, Alaska. This miniature artwork set features watercolor paintings of three different sunsets on Korea’s West Sea coast. Each hand-painted piece measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches, and illustrates in careful detail three different locations. The first, painted with Shinhan professional-grade gouache on Baohong rough grain paper watercolor paper, depicts a calm sunset on Seonyudo Island in Gunsan, South Korea with a wistful sea gull looking on. The second is a moody scene of a colorful sunset from the viewpoint of the northwest flank of Mt. Baekhwa, painted using Kuretake Gansai Tambi on Strathmore 400. The third painting is of a stunning pink-toned streaked sunset from the pier of Cheollipo Port in Taean County, also painted in Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints on Strathmore 400 watercolor paper.
