Cheukdo Island Cliff
A dramatic sketch done in Chromatek watercolor brush pen on postcard paper. The sun was hot and the tide was out, enough to uncover the small, boulder-studded causeway that allowed us to drive to this tiny islet near Seonjaedo Island in Incheon, South Korea. The strikingly colorful cliffs here are comprised of stratified rock, and if you look closely you can see me (the artist) with my white hat on, tiptoeing over the rocks looking for clam shells. For the adventurer in you. For the traveler in you.
