The Great Escape
Sometimes, on an overcast day as cumulus clouds cover the sky, there’s an occasional moment of inspiration as a small blue window opens up.
I took this shot in Spring in East Devon. I liked how there was a great contrast between the moody, silvery-looking low cloud against the whites of the cumulus above. Always changing shape in the light breeze, there was a moment of blue sky, a hole in sprawling mass, offering a ‘great escape’ for the eye.
