Lani Beaded Necklace

From humble beginnings something regal and romantic grew.

To be honest pink, red and cream are not colours I would usually put together, BUT - the beautiful lampwork heart-shaped bead on Lani's extender chain persuaded me to use these colours in this design.

Now to me Lani looks kinda 'royal' - what do you think?  Would it look out of place around the neck of a Queen or Princess!

Lani is a collar necklace (14 inches in length) designed to be worn around the neck, but it can also be worn as a choker (16 inches - to fit around the base of the neck) because I included the 2 inch extender which features that (stunningingly gorgeous) Czech lampwork heart charm.  

Imagine that heart charm, laying against the top of your spine: your hair's up, you got your new backless number on and everyone around you is thinking ...

"She's bloody stylish!" And they're right!

Not only have you got it goin' on, Lani's got a lot goin' on too.

The minimalistic chain allows the lush beads to become the focus of this piece, while the colour combo and cocktail of beads gives it the that Royalesque look.

The cherry red crackle beads seem to contain a mini universe, the cats eye are duo tone, the shape of the cream ceramic square beads is echoed by the detailed gold tone square spacer beads that have 'tudor' roses on them.

Maybe that's why I keep thinking regal?
  
There are more gold tone spacers (in two styles), a gold tone lobster fastening, some tiny pink pearlised beads and then, there's those fabulous rose quartz rounds.

Crystals have been used for centuries, in many cultures, for their healing, meditative, creative and protective properties, and rose quartz is by far the most popular, probably due to it often  being referred to as the stone of love. 

This was not just a pleasure to make, it's wonderful to look at too.

I'm sure you'll feel like a princess when you wear it.
