Keep your ears warm with this colorful - and reversible! - hat, featuring a tubular cast on for a perfect edge and short-row shaping for the earflaps. You’ll love the unique textural pattern created by the decreases. The pictures show two different colourways; when reversed the colours of the hat stay the same, but the texture varies.
This hat is worked in the round with a tubular cast on for a perfect edge and short-row shaping for the earflaps. The hat is worked inside out so the textural pattern created by the K2tog decreases is revealed when the hat is turned right side out. Because of this all yarn ends and joins should be kept on the outside of the hat, the side nearest the knitter, while working. Where the pattern only gives one set of directions, this applies to all sizes.
