A tributary of the Merced River that flows through Yosemite Valley in California, Tenaya Creek starts high in the mountains at Tenaya Lake in Tuolumne Meadows, flows through the Tenaya Canyon and drops more than 1000 feet over the Pywiack Cascade into a valley far below Cloud’s Rest. Later it begins a more leisurely path, and widens into Mirror Lake at the base of Half Dome, before joining its waters with the Merced River in Yosemite Valley.

These fingerless mitts have rivulets of pattern running down the side of each hand. Knit exactly the same as each other, the mitts can be worn on either hand—there’s no confusion with making one for the right, and a different one for the left. Expanded size range means you can knit matching mitts for the whole family!
