The Mist Infinity Cowl features reversible lace stitch patterns knit in sections and stripes of two contrasting colors.
This cowl is knit sideways, making the pattern easily adjustable to the desired length. It is designed with the generous width and length to allow the long loop to be worn draped around the shoulders in a double wrap style, as shown in the pattern.
For a different look, the loop can be shortened and worn over the shoulders like a capelet.
The ends of a knitted piece are sewn together or joined with the Kitchener stitch along the cast-on and cast-off edges to form a loop.

Gauge
22 sts x 38 rows to 4 inches / 10 cm square over garter stitch on US#5 / 3.75mm needles;
16 sts x 24 rows to 4 inches / 10 cm square over the Zig-Zag Eyelet stitch pattern on
US#6 / 4mm needles, blocked. Adjust needle size if necessary.
The gauge is not very important in this design, however the different from the pattern gauge may result in different look, finished measurements and yardage used.
