In disability support, workplace, and community settings, support often begins with identifying limitations or needs. While this can be necessary, when limitation becomes the primary focus, capability, opportunity, and growth can quietly shrink.
Amplified Capability Practices is a short, practical self-paced development module designed to help Beyond the Wheel Workshop participants reflect on how everyday support can unintentionally reinforce limitation — and how intentional, person-centred support can amplify capability instead.
Grounded in lived experience and real-world examples, this workshop supports Beyond the Wheel Workshop participants to notice routine moments where support either expands opportunity or unintentionally restricts it — and to explore practical ways to strengthen confidence, autonomy, participation, and growth without pressure or unrealistic expectations.
This module does not deny support needs or challenges.
It focuses on awareness, intention, and capability-building practice.
