ASSESSMENT OF NIGERIAS MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS AND IMPLICATIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
This research study examines the assessment of Nigeria's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and its implications for sustainable development. Nigeria, being Africa's most populous country and one of its largest economies, faced significant developmental obstacles and embraced the MDGs as an opportunity to improve the well-being of its population. This research assesses Nigeria's progress in achieving the MDGs and analyzes the factors that contributed to both successes and challenges during the implementation period. It explores the role of policies, strategies, and interventions undertaken by the Nigerian government and stakeholders in driving progress towards the MDGs.
