URL Line Break Control for InDesign 

Smart URL Breaker automatically inserts discretionary line breaks into hyperlinks within your InDesign documents, giving you precise control over how URLs wrap across lines. The script allows you to specify exactly where breaks should occur—before or after characters like slashes, periods, ampersands, and other common URL elements—preventing awkward mid-word breaks that can make URLs difficult to read or copy.

Whether you're working on a single hyperlink or processing an entire document, the script offers flexible options including preset management, paragraph style filtering, and the ability to exclude mailto links.

Notes:

• The script sets processed text language to [No Language]
• Locked text frames or layers are not processed
• Works on already created hyperlinks by default; use "Any Text" option to process non-hyperlink text
