Please welcome Gerda, my latest sock design.
These socks actually live in my drawer, because they are almost too pretty to wear them. Don’t be like me, knit them and wear them with pride!

The Gerda Socks are knitted from the cuff down to the toe. Start with the beautiful picot edge, using the Provisional Cast-on method, then continue in Twisted rib stitch pattern to finish the cuff. Proceed to work the leg of the socks, enjoying the knitting of the sophisticated Rowan Leaves stitch pattern. After creating the sturdy heel flap, turn the heel using some short rows and start decreasing to create the gussets. Finish the socks with the Short, Medium or Long Standard Toe.
