APPRAISAL OF THE OFFENCE OF RAPE UNDER NIGERIA LAW

This study sought to appraise the offence of rape under the Nigeria Law. This study employed a doctrinal method. Rape is a destructive crime on the victim across the globe. The victims are devastated physically, psychologically and emotionally. This study intends to examine the causes of the increase in rape in Nigeria; to assess the punishment for rape; and to examine means to which rape can be curtailed. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), and references.
