An Introduction to Building Miniature Steamers.

This is a short article of 8 pages with 2,795 words, and 11 colour images showing the construction of the steam collier Dashwood. No plans are given in the article, but they are available from the book:

The Steam Collier Fleets, by J. A. MacRae and C. V. Waine, that is still available from libraries or booksellers. The Dashwood is a fairly simple model, and I hope the building images will help to show that there is nothing really complicated in building a miniature ship model.

This article was available in my Payhip downloads some time ago, but I took it off as I was considering including it in my recent printed book, Miniature Shipbuilding 2015. I changed my mind, and did not include it in the book!
