Walk in Chicago # 3, the north of the Loop and Navy Pier

This walk is a good complement to Walk in Chicago # 1 and Walk in Chicago # 2 for exploring downtown.

It first runs along the river then passes the Children's Museum and the rides at Navy Pier before continuing along the lake. Then it enters an astonishing architectural ensemble which will please you if you like contemporary skyscrapers of multiple shapes and heights.

It can be combined with walk in Chicago # 4 (the Magnificent Mile and the Gold Coast) for a complete introduction to Chicago.
