The MRH-90 multi-role helicopter, which has more and better capability, ability, and capacity to fulfill changing requirements, has replaced the ADF's previous Black Hawk and Sea King helicopter fleets. 46 MRH-90 aircraft have been purchased by the Navy and Army. The Hon. The first two aircraft were accepted into service at a ceremony in Brisbane on December 18 by Greg Combet MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Defense Procurement. The MRH-90 capability makes use of cutting-edge technology, including composite materials and fly-by-wire systems, and has more built-in safety features that meet or exceed the ADF's requirements. It will lead to more efficient maintenance as a result.
