Paradise

In this lesson, students will use their senses to describe what paradise is for them. They will also develop their critical thinking skills by ranking some images and comparing and contrasting their ideas.

Students will also define the concept of dream and share the dreams they remember. Before listening the song Paradise by Coldplay students will work on some lexis and classify it according to three categories.

Students will develop their visual literacy skills by working on the song video and they will develop their listening decoding skills by focusing on the song lyrics.

By the end of the lesson, students will make a minipresentation explaining what paradise is for them by showing a drawing or photo that represents it and sharing a song.

As an optional activity, students will work on pronunciation, long and short vowel sounds from the song.
