This is a knitting pattern, for a beginner friendly lace knitting design; beginner lace knitter that is. There are no nupps, only yarn overs and decreases. The charts flow easily if you read the directions. I used lace weight yarn and US needle size 5.  Requires about 1,400 yards of 2 ply lace weight Merino yarn in the main color and 600 yards of the same yarn in the contrasting color.  The yarn I used is 880 yards to 100g.  You will also need a 24g tube of 6/0 beads and a beading tool of some sort if you are using beads.  It is a square shaped shawl with a slit in the front.  It is worked in rows from the center out using self striping yarn.  The bind off is worked using a crochet hook and attaching beads as you go.  There will be a video tutorial coming soon.  These motifs are all basically American. This is my first piece of American lace.  If you need help please let me know. I hope you enjoy!
