[SPH] Type BE / SIG 1920 / SIG Bergmann

The Type BE submachine gun, also known as the SIG 1920 or SIG Bergmann, is a Swiss-designed submachine gun based on the German MP 18 and developed by SIG in the early 1920s. It was primarily chambered in 7.63×25mm Mauser, a high-velocity cartridge favored for its flat trajectory and penetration. Japan was one of its key users, adopting it in limited numbers and designating it as the Type BE for use by specialized military and police units.

The Type BE operates on a straight blowback mechanism and is fed by a 32-round detachable box magazine, ensuring a steady rate of fire. It retains the wooden stock and ergonomic design of the original Bergmann concept, offering stability and control. The firearm has an overall length of approximately 810mm, a 200mm barrel, and a cyclic rate of fire of around 450 rounds per minute.
