CRIME PREVENTION AND CONTROL IN THE SOCIETY

This thesis reports on a research study conducted to test the efficacy of a predictive model for assessing site-specific society safety. An effective criminal justice system is a key pillar upon which the concept of the rule of law is built, as it serves as a fundamental mechanism to redress grievances and bring violators of social norms to justice. The way a country manages its criminal justice system significantly affects its overall performance on the governance index.
