THE EFFECT OF STREET HAWKING AMONG TEENAGE GIRLS GENERAL EDUCATION IN NIGERIA

This research investigates how street hawking affects the educational development of teenage girls in Nigeria. It examines the social, economic, and cultural factors that push young girls into street trading, and how this impacts their school attendance, academic performance, and future opportunities. The study also explores the broad consequences of street hawking on national education goals and gender equality, while suggesting practical solutions to reduce child labour and promote inclusive education.
