This will suit writers who are ready to commit more fully to their work, who would benefit from a consistent, thoughtful presence as they shape and refine their novel.
The 3-Month Intensive Mentorship offers a way of working together over time, allowing us to return to your writing as it develops, rather than trying to find all the answers at once.
Across three months, we will meet regularly to reflect on your work, think through challenges and consider the direction your novel is taking. Between sessions, you’re able to share up to 10,000 words each month so the feedback remains closely connected to where you are in the process.
This ongoing exchange often makes it easier to move through the more uncertain stages of a project, particularly the middle, where many writers begin to lose their sense of direction or feel unsure how to sustain momentum.
During our time together, we’ll look carefully at the key elements shaping your writing such as structure, character, narrative direction and begin to identify where things feel settled, and where they may need further development. I will help you identify small but important shifts: clarifying a character’s role, strengthening the direction of the story, or recognising what the piece is really trying to do.
Alongside the work on the manuscript itself, there is also space to think more broadly about the writing life including questions around the publishing process, next steps and how your work might find its place beyond the page.
I work with a small number of writers at a time as the kind of reading and feedback I offer requires time, attention and a close engagement with each piece of work.
Before booking is confirmed, you’ll be asked to share a little about your project. I’ll read this to ensure the session is the right fit, and then be in touch with next steps, including payment and scheduling.
The form itself is simply a way for me to understand where you are with your writing and what you might need. There’s no expectation to have everything figured out, a few honest reflections are more than enough.
