Parent Pages Pilot is an advanced script that automates the application of parent pages to document pages. It replaces tedious manual parent-page assignments with a powerful, flexible tool that can handle anything from simple bulk application to complex content-driven rules.

The script provides three distinct modes of operation through a tabbed palette interface:

• Page Range — Apply a single parent page to a targeted page scope (range, all, active page, active spread, or Pages-panel selection).
• Pattern-Based Rules — Apply parent pages using repeating numeric intervals, alternating pairs, or fully custom letter-based sequences.
• Content-Aware Rules — Automatically assign parent pages based on what is on each page — paragraph styles, character styles, object styles, linked images, named marker text frames, empty pages, or section boundaries.
