Who says mitts have to keep your hands warm? Sometimes style takes priority over function. Sometimes the rules are supposed to be broken. (And if your hands get too cold, why not pop a pair of plain mitts underneath?)

Yarn: fingering, 110-130 yards (101-120 metres)
Needles: 2mm
Sizing: Three adult sizes, to fit hands up to 8" / 20cm at widest part
Techniques: cast on (long tail); bind off (JSSBO, standard); knitting in the round; lace; picking up stitches

An Exceptional Pattern, Great for Gift Knitting!

I adore this pattern! It's very well written with clear, concise instructions and is very well paced. The lace repeat is easy to memorise so it's nice and relaxing to knit. The mitts knit up very quickly so are well suited for gift knitting. The designer has clearly worked very hard to make her patterns accessible and it shows!
