Who says mitts have to keep your hands warm? Sometimes style takes priority over function. Sometimes the rules are supposed to be broken. (And if your hands get too cold, why not pop a pair of plain mitts underneath?)

Sizing

Rebel comes in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. It is designed to be worn with around 1" / 2.5cm negative ease.

Small: 5" tall by 5.2" diameter (13.5cm tall by 12.9cm diameter) to fit hands up to 6" at knuckle / wrist.

Medium: 5.5" tall by 6.1" diameter (16.5cm tall by 15.3cm diameter) to fit hands up to 7" at knuckle / wrist.

Large: 6" tall by 7.1" diameter (16.5cm tall by 17.6cm diameter) to fit hands up to 8" at knuckle /
wrist.

Rebel is designed to be a little shorter than my other mitts, so that they can be worn layered.

An Exceptional Pattern, Great for Gift Knitting!

I adore this pattern! It's very well written with clear, concise instructions and is very well paced. The lace repeat is easy to memorise so it's nice and relaxing to knit. The mitts knit up very quickly so are well suited for gift knitting. The designer has clearly worked very hard to make her patterns accessible and it shows!
