- Notes from the Artist: This image blends two of my favorite subjects: flowers and macro photography. Grace, beauty, and form of flowers, combined with the awesome and intricate details of floral anatomy, are seen through macro photography. The plant is designed for the sole purpose of attracting pollinators to produce the next generation. Unlike flowers, our time transcends the purely reproductive, providing us time to explore and challenge our environment. Yet a flower can be experienced as a microcosm of our world, with the depth and complexity of both inner and outer beauty.
