“The Light Of Resilience” is an impressionistic realism-style landscape inspired by the stone lantern perched atop a breakwater where the artist used to sit and meditate after her snorkeling sessions in the Seto Inland Sea. This shrine lantern is located in Tadanoumi, Takehara City in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. A blue rock thrush bird sits and sings atop the lantern, set against a crisp blue sky and gentle, calm sea. The mountains of Oshima Island can be seen in the distance.
