005/200 JPN003: “Kinkakuji Splendor” Printable Watercolor Miniature Hand-Painted Artwork

”Kinkakuji Splendor” is an impressionistic realism-style architectural study inspired by a 2002 visit to Kyoto with my mother. When I was a teenager growing up in Alaska, I had a picture of this temple hanging on my bedroom door. And when I finally got to see it in 2002 with my own eyes, I cried from the realization that I achieved my life goal of living in Japan. This ACEO-sized artwork would bring a unique and exotic flavor to a bookshelf, desktop, countertop, even a small accent table.
