Foundation / Kindergarten Term 3 Homeschool Program
✨ Foundation (Kindergarten) – Term 3
Stories of the Prophets
This Foundation (Kindergarten) homeschool program is a continuation of the earlier terms, building upon your child’s growing skills, confidence and understanding. Term 3 invites children to explore the Stories of the Prophets, using these timeless narratives as a foundation for learning, reflection and character development, all within an Islamic worldview.
Learning is approached through the lens of Islam, where knowledge, character and purpose are inseparable. The program offers calm, meaningful daily learning aligned with the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) Foundation outcomes, while remaining firmly rooted in Islamic values. Learning is gently scaffolded so concepts are revisited, strengthened and extended over time, allowing children to progress with confidence and without pressure or overwhelm.
Through storytelling, discussion, hands-on experiences and creative expression, children engage with literacy, numeracy, science, wellbeing and humanities concepts in ways that feel purposeful and connected. The Stories of the Prophets provide rich and meaningful contexts for nurturing patience, kindness, courage, gratitude and trust in Allah ﷻ, while deepening children’s understanding of the world and their place within it.
As with the previous terms, this resource is designed to be used flexibly, one day at a time, empowering parents to remain closely involved in their child’s learning journey. Lessons encourage steady routines, meaningful conversations and joyful discovery, rather than rushing content or focusing on outcomes alone.
Term 3 continues to nurture a love of learning, a sense of wonder and an ability to recognise the signs of Allah ﷻ through nature, change, relationships and stories passed down through generations.
This is not a scripted curriculum or workbook-based package. It is a flexible planning and guidance tool that supports parents in planning, delivering, assessing and record-keeping across the term using their own preferred resources, while ensuring curriculum coverage.
📘 Learning Focus – Term 3
English (Early Literacy & Language)
