Lattice and Lace

This is a PDF file for a traditional style knitted Estonian Shawl or as they call it, a scarf. It has a border, a center and then the sewn on edging. This is my second design; Luminous Ladybug was my first. This one is beginner friendly, because it has only a few nupps. A good start for reading charts too!  I used a lace weight yarn that is a 50/50 blend of wool and silk, about 2,520 yards will be needed.  I worked the piece on US knitting needles sizes 3 and 5.  This is a large piece and will require some time commitment.  Take it one step at a time and if you need help ask.
