Christus Patiens Fine Art Print
A graphite drawing on paper, by me, in the typical style of crucifixion figures of the mid-13th century in Umbria. These large painted crucifixes were done in egg tempera on large wood panels and popularised by the new Franciscan mendicant order. (Shown in this product page is the famous Arezzo Crucifix by Cimabue.)
It is rendered in graphite on paper. It is an original work, not a copy of any existing work from the period or contemporary painters.
It is offered as a print on "William Turner" 100% cotton, acid-free archival paper by the Hahnemühle specialist company in Germany, with "deckled" edges perfect for a float frame. Original size of the image is 45.5 cm x 35 cm. The original paper size was 50 cm x 35 cm.
