About

The Bloom Bobble Slipover is a fun and textured slipover with ties on the side. The slipover is worked top down with a European shoulder. First, the entire back is worked flat with a garter rib texture and shaping details. Then, stitches are picked up for each front and joined together. Then, the front is shaped for the armholes.

On the front there are two cables that come together with a bobble and lace motif.

Next, stitches are picked up around each shoulder for the ribbed armbands. On each side seam as well as the neckline, a folded edge with picot detail is added. Finally, an I-cord is worked and added to each shoulder to be used as ties.

Difficulty 3/5. Knitting bobbles, lace and cables from charts. Increases, decreases. I-cords.

Gauge

19 sts x 28 rows = 10 cm | 4 inch.

Using 4 mm | US 6 needles, measured in garter rib texture after blocking.

Needles

4 mm | US 6 for main.

3.5 mm | US 4 for neckband, armbands, I-cord, edges.

Recommended for chest circumference of

The slipover is intended to be worn with 0-5 cm | 0-2 inch of opening on each side of the ties at the underarm.

It’s recommended to choose a size with 0-10 cm | 0-4 inch of negative ease at the chest. #sizeinclusive
