______________
Stash dive for some DK weight yarns to knit up the Chasing Buffaloes Hat and learn Two Pass Woven Knitting. You will be amazed at how quickly you memorize the stitch pattern and create colourwork without counting stitches!
The cables, gracefully emerging from the ribs in the brim, help establish the structure of the woven motif. This makes your knitting easier to read as you apply the technique.
This pattern is supported by the Chasing Buffaloes Tutorials. Use the skills to knit Chasing Buffaloes Scarf or Wrap. The same stitch pattern creates surprisingly different motifs.
Look for yarns with a round construction to make your cables pop. Multi-ply yarns with a tight twist are great for cablework.
