Lisbon City Rain Sound Library
We spent a month living in the historic Alfama neighborhood, Lisbon’s oldest district and a place rich in character. Our apartment sat on a quiet side street, away from the lively bar life and Fado music, with a rooftop terrace that became the perfect spot to record the rain.
Alfama’s cobblestone sidewalks create a distinctive acoustic texture. As the rain fell, each drop struck the stones, producing a rhythmic, resonant ambience unlike anywhere else. The result is a soundscape that blends Lisbon’s history with the calming beauty of a rainy day.
