Some of my earliest memories include laying flat on my back on the lawn, gazing up at the sky, and trying to trace all the contrails left by jets filled with people going somewhere. The mystery of them, the pretty patterns they made so high up in the sky… Years later I was in a jet speeding across the sky, and looking out I was delighted to see white mist form trails off the wings leaving a clear path of where we’d been, and in what direction we were heading.

This simple scarf is fully reversible. It looks exactly the same on one side as the other, so it doesn’t care if you’re looking at it from above or below, front or back. Scarf is worked from one end straight on through to the other, nearly every row a copy of the one before, with regular cables thrown in for a bit of interest, and to keep the knitting from getting too mundane.
