Parasitism is one of the main constraints limiting livestock productions. Control of parasitic diseases communicable from animals to men under natural conditions is very necessary to improve the health status of Nigerians. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence and burden of gastrointestinal (GIT) parasites of sheep from Minna Abattoir, Niger Sate, Nigeria. The presence of nematodal eggs and coccidial oocysts in fecal samples were analyzed using the saturated sodium chloride floatation technique. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, list abbreviations, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), references, and appendices.
