Twilight Garden Wall Quilt

It's on those nights when you are out in the garden, and the day is fading away with twilight coming in, and you don't want to leave. The flowers and leaves deepen in color and you wish you could capture it.

Now you can make yourself a Twilight Garden...or use bright contrasting colors and have a Morning Garden. This quilt was inspired by those summer nights, as well as a trip to Copenhagen, where I saw lots of simple flower shapes in saturated colors. I've been thinking about a quilt like this ever since I returned.

This is a pattern that offers three ways to appliqué: raw edge, turned edge, or machine appliqué. The directions are thorough, the patterns are complete and accurate and the making goes fast.

There are two designs: make only the center, for a quilt that measures 39" wide by 41" high. Or, add on the outer border with leaves and buds for a quilt that measures 52" by 54." Either way it will be a standout quilt in your collection!
