Full description

For event organisers, venue managers and community groups who run markets, festivals, sports days, launches, weddings or other public events and need a written safety plan. The template gives you a clear scoring method, a register of example hazards with controls that you edit for your site, a way to work out a safe capacity, weather thresholds, first-aid planning, an emergency contact sheet, staff procedures, an incident report form and printable site checklists. Every figure that depends on local rules is a bracketed field with a note to verify local requirements.

Save with a bundle: this template is also in the Events & Weddings Bundle, 10 templates for $29 instead of $67. All 141 templates are in the All-Access Hospitality Template Library for $79.

How it works

  1. Fill in the event overview and agree the scoring bands with the event owner.
  2. Edit the example hazards for your site, delete those that do not apply and add your own to the register.
  3. Complete the capacity worksheet, weather thresholds and emergency contact sheet with your real figures.
  4. Check every bracketed figure against local rules, brief the team and print the checklists and incident forms.
