MODULO 1 YOUR MIND IS IN SURVIVAL (IT'S NOT BROKEN)
Module 1 of "7 Days to a Calm Mind" is titled "Your Mind Is in Survival (It's not Broken)." This module explains that if you feel anxious or stressed, it's not because your brain is malfunctioning, but because it's doing its protective job "too well." You'll learn why your mind sets off the "danger alarm" even when there's no real threat.
The module guides you through identifying situations that trigger your "internal alarm," such as public speaking, work meetings, or receiving criticism. It also helps you recognize the automatic thoughts that arise in these moments, such as "I'm not good enough" or "I'm going to be judged."
Finally, the module teaches you how to recognize physical reactions in your body, such as a racing heart, sweaty palms, or a knot in your stomach, and explains that these are signals from the sympathetic nervous system preparing to "fight or flight," even when there's no real danger. The module concludes by inviting you to create a "brain map" to identify your triggers, thoughts, and physical reactions, which is a great step toward understanding your mind.
