Make your own piece of modern art with this glorious wall hanging.  In this pattern I'll show you how to handpiece these flower rings using my favourite curved English paper-piecing technique before appliquéing them onto the bacground fabric before quilting.

The pattern includes:
• Full materials requirements
• Full colour instructions
• Cutting Instructions
• Piecing instructions
• Ideas for quilting

Finished size: approx. 27" square

Skill level: Skilled Beginner

You will need:
• Forty fabric scraps, at least 5½” x 8“ in size
• 30” square of background fabric
• 33” square of backing fabric and wadding - if you are using a white background fabric, I suggest using a white wadding to keep that crispness
• A long quarter for the binding
• Temporary fabric glue pen
• Gentle fabric starch such as Mary Ellen’s Best Press
• Lightweight card for your templates - you can trace your own from the templates included in the pattern or I have template sheets available to purchase on the website here
• Removable fabric marker
• Basic sewing kit including fabric and paper scissors, fine pins, a sewing needle (I use a John James Sharps size 10, but use a size you are comfortable with), a thimble (optional) and a sewing machine.

IMPORTANT: This pattern assumes the reader has the knowledge to baste, quilt and bind the quilt.  However for those of you new to quilting I have added some tutorials on this on my website in the Beginner's Quilt Section.

Make sure to read the whole pattern all the way through before beginning your project.
