
Hexy Peg Bag PDF Pattern
Use quick glue-basting and a speedy hand-piecing technique to make this bright and funky peg bag that will bring some hexy joy to your washing days! These instructions also cover a basting technique which doesn't involve glue.
Skill level: Skilled Beginner
Finished size: Approx. 6" x 10"
You will need:
• Fabric scraps, a 42pc charm pack, or at least eight 2.5" x wof (width of fabric) strips
• One fat quarter of a co-ordinating solid or blender
• Ninety 1" paper hexagon templates, which you can cut yourself from the template in the pattern, or you can purchase packs of pre-cut papers at Sewmotion.com by clicking here
• A temporary fabric glue pen, which you can add above
• 20” x 25” wadding
• One lobster claw clip.
Skill level: Skilled Beginner
Finished size approx. 10" x 6"
When printing your templates, to ensure you are printing at the correct scale, just check that the box on the page measures 1" square - if it doesn't adjust your printer settings to accommodate - and check that the 'fit to page' option isn't ticked.
