This project features the hand sewing technique of English Paper-piecing (EPP) using the ever-popular hexagon shape, a basting technique that doesn’t involve glue and the traditional whip stitch. Once your panel is made up, you will machine sew your Peg Bag together - these full colour easy-to-follow instructions will take you through every step.

Pack of pre-cut paper hexagons are available here in the Sewmotion Shop or you can use the template included in the pattern to make up your own.

Skill level: Skilled Beginner

Finished size approx. 10" x 6"

You will need:

• Fabric scraps, or at least eight fat quarters to create a scrappy look, or as I used in my version, a 42 piece charm pack in co-ordinating designs
• One fat quarter of a co-ordinating solid or blender
• 20” x 18” wadding
• 6 binding clips
• One lobster claw clip.

When printing your templates, to ensure you are printing at the correct scale, just check that the box on the page measures 1" square - if it doesn't adjust your printer settings to accommodate - and check that the 'fit to page' option isn't ticked.

Make sure to read the whole pattern all the way through before beginning your project.
