Ascent to Cap Height 1.0
Ascent to Cap Height 1.0
Change first baseline from Ascent to Cap Height
Ascent to Cap Height switches the first baseline offset from Ascent to Cap Height across an entire InDesign document in one pass. By default, InDesign uses each font's ascender value, which varies a lot between fonts and often leaves an oversized gap above the first line. With Cap Height, the top of the capitals sits right on the frame's inset whatever the font, so your text lines up cleanly with images, rules, grids and neighbouring frames. The script processes text frames, table cells and parent pages, and can also update the document defaults so new frames start out right.
