If Something Happens to Me: UK Family Emergency Organiser
If something happened to you tomorrow, would your family know where to start?
This 36-page organiser helps you write down everything the people you love would need to find: who to call, where your will is kept, who you bank and insure with, what bills to cancel, who looks after the dog, and the things you'd want them to know. It's written for the UK, so it covers things like Tell Us Once, lasting powers of attorney, council tax, ISAs, workplace pensions, HMRC and the State Pension.
It records where to find things, not passwords or account numbers. There's a page that points to a password manager with emergency access instead.

What you'll download
- If-Something-Happens-to-Me_Family-Organiser_LifeAdminDeskStudio.pdf (PDF, 36 pages)
How it works
- Digital download: one PDF file. Nothing physical is posted.
- Straight after you pay, you'll be taken to your download page, and you'll also get an email with your download link.
- Type straight into the fillable fields using a PDF app that supports forms, such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, then save. Or print on A4 at home and fill it in by hand.
- Some browser and phone PDF viewers don't save form entries. If that happens, use Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- A4 size. It prints on US Letter with "fit to page", but margins will differ slightly.
Please note
This is a fill-in organiser for your own records. It is not a will, a power of attorney or any other legal document, and it is not legal, financial, tax or medical advice. Nothing in it is legally binding. For a will, a lasting power of attorney or advice about your situation, speak to a qualified professional. Rules can differ in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The organiser notes this where it matters.
Keep it safe
Once filled in, this document will hold personal information about you and others. Store it somewhere secure, such as a locked drawer, a fire-safe box or encrypted storage, and tell one or two trusted people where it is.
How this was made
I designed this organiser and chose its contents. I used AI tools to help draft some of the wording and to help build the layout of the PDF. Every page was checked, and the fillable fields were tested, before release. There are no AI-generated photos or illustrations.
Digital download and cancellations
This is digital content, available to download straight after purchase. At checkout, you'll be asked to agree that the download can start immediately and to acknowledge that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. If the file is faulty or won't open, email lifeadmindesk@gmail.com and I'll put it right.
Personal use
For personal use by you and your household. Please don't resell or share the file.
